My Mower Privacy Policy

As the operator of the My Mower mobile application ("My Mower"), we are committed to protecting the personal information and privacy of our users (hereinafter referred to as "you"). This "My Mower Privacy Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "this policy") explains the types of specific personal information we collect when you use the My Mower APP (hereinafter referred to as "application") provided by us, the reason for using it, the method of processing your personal information, and your rights under this policy.

Please understand that this policy is necessary for you to use this application and its device-related functions, and it is also necessary for you to become a user. We recommend that you carefully read and understand the entire content of this policy so that you can make the choice you think is appropriate.

Summary: We process personal information and device data only as needed to provide and improve the App, mower, cloud services, safety features, diagnostics, and customer support. Live View is disabled by default and will be enabled only after you turn on the related setting or confirm the in-app notice. Map data, mowing paths, and device positioning data are stored in cloud servers located outside mainland China and will be deleted or de-identified after device unbinding or account deletion in accordance with this policy and applicable law. Obstacle avoidance images may be uploaded and used to improve AI models and mower performance. You may contact us to access, correct, delete, or control your personal information.

By using the App, you agree and acknowledge that you have read and accepted all terms of this Privacy Policy, including any changes we may make from time to time. In order to comply with applicable laws, including local data protection legislation, we will specifically seek your prior express consent to process special categories of personal data information. We are committed to complying with the personal information protection laws that apply to us to protect the privacy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information, and we are equally committed to ensuring that all of our employees and agents comply with these obligations. The purpose of processing your information is to run applications and devices, provide you with better services, and improve the quality of our products. Our ultimate goal is to provide the best experience for all users.

(1) If you think that our processing of personal information violates the Personal Information Protection Law, you can complain to the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction at any time. (2) Generally, we will not share, disclose or transfer your personal information to any third party unless otherwise specified in this policy or as required or permitted by relevant laws. If it is necessary to share, disclose or transfer information, we will explain the reasons/basis for such sharing, disclosure, or transfer, and obtain your express consent to the extent required by law.

1. How we collect your personal information

In order to provide our services to you, we will ask you to provide the personal information necessary for those services. If you do not provide your personal data, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services. To help you better understand this Privacy Policy, definitions of some commonly used terms in this Privacy Policy are as follows:

Mobile device: Any device that runs the App, such as mobile phones, tablets, etc.

Device: Any smart device that can be connected to the IoT platform through the App, such as My Mower lawn mower.

We will only collect information that is necessary for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes and will not process it further for any other purpose. We may collect the following types of information (which may or may not be Personal Information):

(a) Account and login information: Email address, account ID, encrypted password information, login status, third-party login identifiers from Google or Apple when you choose those login methods, and related authentication records.

(b) Mobile device and App information: Device model, operating system version, language, time zone, App version, device identifiers, network status, crash information, diagnostic information, and App usage events needed for analytics, security, and service improvement.

(c) Mower and accessory information: Device serial number, MAC address, firmware version, battery status, sensor status, network signal, RTK/nRTK status, charging station information, Home Link or other accessory information, and device binding relationships.

(d) Map, mowing, and positioning information: Map data, virtual boundaries, no-go zones, mowing schedules, mowing paths, task records, device positioning data, trajectory planning data, and related device status. This information is stored in cloud servers located outside mainland China so that you can manage your mower and maps across devices.

(e) Camera and visual sensor information: Images, video streams, or processed visual data captured by the mower for obstacle avoidance, boundary recognition, device safety, Live View, diagnostics, and product improvement. Obstacle avoidance images may be uploaded and used to improve AI models and mower performance.

(f) Live View camera information: When you enable Live View, the mower camera may transmit real-time images or video of the area around the mower. Depending on where the mower is located, this may include people, vehicles, neighboring property, roads, sidewalks, or other public areas. Live View is disabled by default and will only be enabled after you turn on the related setting or confirm the in-app notice. We do not intend to record Live View streams unless separately stated or consented to.

(g) Network access information: Wi-Fi SSID, Wi-Fi password, Bluetooth connection information, and network configuration information needed to connect your mower or accessories. Your Wi-Fi password is used for device configuration and is not intended to be displayed publicly.

(h) Support, feedback, and remote assistance information: Customer support messages, feedback content, screenshots or attachments you provide, device logs, diagnostic records, remote assistance authorization records, and operation records needed to troubleshoot issues or provide support.

(i) Notification information: Device alerts, mowing status, OTA upgrade reminders, system notices, and push notification tokens used to deliver notifications to your device.

For any personal information collected by the device as a result of your commands or settings within the application, we will reasonably assume that they are legally enforced by you or an individual for whom you have obtained sufficient and valid consent or based on another legal basis. We strictly abide by this policy to collect, use and transmit their personal information.

Note that if you choose to share control of your device with an app account other than yours, the data collected from your device by the other app account holder during the period of control will also be recorded under that app account.

If you share a mower with family members or other authorized users, those users may be able to view device status, maps, mowing records, alerts, and Live View, and may operate certain device functions depending on their permissions. Please share access only with trusted users and revoke access when it is no longer needed.

2. How will personal information be used

We collect your personal information to provide you with our products or services and to ensure our compliance with applicable laws. You hereby agree that we may process and disclose your personal information to our affiliates and third-party service providers for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

Provide, process, maintain, improve, or develop the products and/or services we provide to you, as well as the services provided through your equipment or applications.

To communicate with you about your device, our services, or any general inquiries, such as updates, device firmware/software upgrades, customer query support, related information, and notifications.

Analyze and develop statistical information about the usage of our products and services to improve our products and services.

Store and maintain your information related to our business operations or legal obligations.

Local services can be provided without communicating with our server.

Further details on how we use your information (which may include your Personal Information) are provided below:

(a) Create your My Mower account. Your email address collected when you create an account on your mobile device is used to create your personal account and profile page. We collect your login information to ensure the realization of the basic functions of the application and collect the information of the device associated with your account to ensure the realization of the basic functions of the device.

(b) Provide location-based services. We may use rough location information to help identify the data center to which your device and mobile device are connected.

(c) Secure device access. If the use of your device requires a network connection, you need to enter your Wi-Fi name and password to configure the network for your device through the App. This information is only used in conjunction with your time zone setting, rough location information, username, and token to configure the network for your device. You can clear your Wi-Fi name and password at any time by resetting the device or deleting the app.

(d) Display the status of your device. You can view the status of the equipment remotely.

(e) Provide push service. Your account is used to send you device and system notifications.

(f) Verify your identity. The App uses your password to verify your identity to prevent any unauthorized logins.

(g) Stay logged in. This means that you no longer need to enter your login information again when you log out of the application and then re-enter the application.

(h) Collect user feedback. Your feedback is very valuable to us as it will help us improve our service and help us solve any problems you encounter during use. In order to track the feedback you provide, your username, the feedback you enter, and the model and system version of your mobile device will be kept on our servers.

(i) Provide firmware upgrade function. When an upgrade package is available, we will remind you to upgrade the firmware based on the firmware version information of all devices associated with your account.

(j) Improve our products and services. We will use information about your mobile device and application functionality to improve our products and services.

(k) Provide Live View. When you choose to use Live View, camera images or video are used to provide the real-time viewing function and help you understand the mower's surrounding environment. We do not intend to record Live View streams unless this is separately stated or you have given separate consent.

(l) Provide mapping and mowing services. Map data, boundaries, no-go zones, mowing paths, schedules, device positioning data, and task records are used to create maps, plan mowing routes, run mowing tasks, display history, support device recovery, and provide cloud synchronization.

(m) Provide remote assistance and diagnostics. With your request or authorization where required, we may use device status, diagnostic logs, map information, operation records, and remote operation records to help troubleshoot abnormal behavior, assist with device configuration, or assist with map creation.

(n) Improve AI and safety features. Obstacle avoidance images and related visual data may be uploaded and used to train and improve AI models, obstacle recognition, boundary recognition, and mower safety performance.

2.1 Legal basis for processing

Depending on your location and the function you use, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving product safety and service quality, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of the vital interests, rights, and safety of users, third parties, or the company. Where applicable law requires separate consent for a specific activity, we will seek such consent or provide appropriate controls.

3. How we store and protect your personal information

3.1 Our management and policies regarding data security.

We are committed to maintaining information security at the level required by law. In order to prevent any unauthorized access, disclosure, or other similar risks, we have adopted reasonable physical, electronic, and management procedures to protect the information we collect from your mobile device or My Mower website. We undertake to take all reasonable steps to protect personal data to the best of our ability. We ensure that employees and third-party service providers who access this information to help provide you with our products and services are bound by strict contractual obligations of confidentiality and will be subject to disciplinary action or termination if they fail to comply with these obligations. Additionally, we have implemented access controls specifically for cloud-based data storage. In general, we regularly review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent any unauthorized access or use.

3.2 Personal information security incident reporting mechanism.

Please understand that due to technical limitations or potential malicious attacks, personal information security accidents may, unfortunately, occur due to factors beyond our control. If a security incident occurs, according to legal requirements, we will immediately inform you of the security incident's general facts and potential impact, the measures we have taken or will take, protection of your information, suggestions for reducing risks, remedial measures, etc. We will notify you of the facts of the incident by email, letter, or push notification depending on your settings to receive our communications. If it is impossible or difficult for us to contact each affected user individually, we will use reasonably effective means to issue a notice.

3.3 Time-limited storage of your information.

We will only store your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required or permitted by law. Account information is generally retained while your account remains active. Map data, mowing paths, device positioning data, device binding information, and related cloud data are generally retained while the device is bound to your account or shared with authorized users. When you unbind a device or delete your account, related cloud data will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with this policy and applicable law, unless retention is necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate support needs. Live View streams are not intended to be recorded by us unless separately stated or consented to.

Our servers and data centers are located outside mainland China. Your information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries or regions outside your country or region of residence. We use reasonable safeguards such as access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, contractual obligations, internal policies, and other security measures required by applicable law to protect such information.

4. Third-Party SDKs and Services

We may use third-party SDKs and service providers to provide login, analytics, crash diagnostics, push notifications, Live View transmission, and cloud services. These providers may process information such as device identifiers, App version, device model, operating system version, crash logs, analytics events, push tokens, login identifiers, or video transmission metadata as needed for their services.

Firebase Analytics

We may use Firebase Analytics to understand App usage, feature performance, and service quality. For more information, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy:

We may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, device information, operating system information, App version, and diagnostic data to identify and fix stability issues.

Purpose: Used to provide video transmission capabilities for mower Live View, remote video viewing, and audio/video communication features.
Usage scenario: Used when you actively enable Live View, remote camera viewing, or related video features.
Scope of information collected: Device model, operating system version, network type, IP address, SDK operation logs, video stream data, video transmission quality data, and other information necessary to provide real-time video communication.

5. What you can do

You can protect your personal information by not disclosing your account information to anyone except those duly authorized by you.

My Mower is not responsible for any security breach caused by any third party accessing your personal information due to your failure to maintain the privacy of your personal information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Your assistance will help us protect the privacy of your personal information.

When using shared device access, Live View, remote assistance, or camera-related features, please make sure that you have the right to do so and that you comply with applicable laws, community rules, and the privacy rights of family members, neighbors, visitors, and the public.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App, mower, and related services are not directed to children. Children must not register accounts, bind devices, operate the mower, access Live View, or use remote control functions without appropriate adult authorization and supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at support@airseekers.ai so that we can take appropriate action.

7. Your right to control your information

7.1 Access, correction, deletion, and portability.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You can delete cached personal information from the App by selecting "Clear Cache" within the App. If you wish to delete personal information stored on our servers, delete your account, or exercise other rights, please send your request to support@airseekers.ai.

7.2 Account deletion.

The App provides an account deletion function. You can request account deletion in the App by going to Profile / Account Settings and selecting "Delete account". Before deletion, the App will show confirmation notices explaining that deletion is irreversible. After you confirm and the deletion request is successfully processed, your account login, personal profile, network-connected device data, device binding relationships, related cloud data, and other information associated with your account will be cleared, deleted, or de-identified in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

After account deletion, you will no longer be able to log in with that account or use services that depend on the account, including device control, map management, mowing schedules, cloud synchronization, Live View, notifications, support records, and other account-based functions. If a mower or device is shared with other authorized users, their access may also be affected depending on the device binding and permission status.

Please note that some information may be retained for a limited period where required or permitted by law, or where retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, compliance with legal obligations, protection of our legitimate rights and interests, or completion of your pending support requests. Such retained information will be handled securely and will not be used for ordinary product or marketing purposes after deletion unless permitted by law. If you cannot complete account deletion in the App, or if you have questions about account deletion, you may contact us at support@airseekers.ai.

7.3 Withdrawal of consent and objection.

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time through App settings where available or by contacting us. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable law provides such rights.

Please note that withdrawing consent or requesting deletion may result in certain functions becoming unavailable. For example, deleting cloud map data or device positioning data may affect map management, mowing tasks, history records, diagnostics, or device recovery. We will respond to your request within the period required by applicable law.

7.4 Complaints.

If you believe that our processing of your personal information does not comply with applicable law, you may contact us at support@airseekers.ai. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority or other competent regulator in your jurisdiction.

8. Personalized Optimization & Assistance

(1) During mowing operations, data related to lawn management, including but not limited to lawn area, lawn health status, map data, device operation paths, positioning data, task records, and obstacle avoidance images, may be collected, uploaded, stored, and processed. This data is used to provide mower functions, synchronize cloud data, improve mower performance, support diagnostics, improve obstacle recognition and boundary recognition, and enhance AI models.

(2) To improve the user experience, remote assistance may be provided during the use of the mower, including troubleshooting abnormal behavior, reviewing device status or logs, and assisting with device configuration or map creation. With the user's authorization where required, remote control operations may also be performed. You remain responsible for ensuring that the mower and surrounding area are safe during remote assistance.

9. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We will periodically review this Privacy Policy and may update it to reflect any changes to our information practices. We will notify you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy via your mobile device so that you can understand what information we collect and how we use it. Such changes to this Privacy Policy apply from the effective date set forth in the notice. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of the App will be deemed acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We will ask for your consent again before we collect more personal information from you, or if we wish to use or disclose your personal information for any other purpose.
